Hi, I’m Carl Ferri and I’ve been in the construction industry all my working life, initially becoming a skilled plasterer. After ten years working for building companies, I set up on my own in 1998, specialising in the restoration and decorating of buildings, and establishing a good client base. Many of these clients are still with me today, two decades later.

During this time I was sub-contracting for large and prestigious central London building and decorating companies, working on high profile commercial and residential properties throughout London. In 1999 I studied traditional specialist paint techniques – achieving an Advanced City & Guilds certificate – and my work has taken me to projects in Brussels, Amsterdam, the South of France and Berlin as well as various corners of England.

In more recent times I expanded my skill set to become a fully qualified applicator of tadelakt, venetian plaster & microcement. In addition to painting and decorating, I’m proud to also provide expert polished plastering & microcement skills. Clients really appreciate this, as not only are they getting a beautiful new painted home or workspace  but I’m also able to offer a beautiful tadelakt plastered wetroom or microcement shower room

Polished plastering and decorating has a transformative power and the satisfaction I get from all my happy customers is the best part of my job. Our homes are more and more important to us, and it’s inspiring to play a role in my clients’ creative visions. I am always looking to improve my knowledge and keep up with new trends throughout the interior decorating & polished plastering world.

I care about the environment and I’ll usually cycle to my projects, limiting any van journeys to just the first and the final day to transport the necessary artisans kit. Commuting by bike – something I’ve been doing for over 25 years, is definitely the best way to start and finish the working day!

✷ How stunning is this? ✷ Its amazing to see a project come together with all the details - I think the brass light fittings and plants look incredible against the Microcement wall.

For this Clapham Old Town project we were instructed to install a Microcement finish on the interior support wall as well as the outdoor seating and kitchen area. More photos coming soon.

The combination of a Microcement finished surface, exposed brick walls, big glass windows, wooden beams, brass fittings and indoor plants makes this a perfect space for the delighted owner.

Hard wearing, bespoke surfaces such as Tadelakt, Microcement and Venetian Plaster are perfect for achieving this Industrial look both indoors and out. If you are interested in this kind of finish for you or your client please get in touch. 🖐🏼

Picture pose Monday! 😃
I Can’t believe it’s 10 years ago I raced in the elite only wave at the Richmond park duathlon.
It was an exciting battle with 4 of us breaking away from the main bunch...
I got pipped off a podium spot into 4th spot by @shasha.nick, but had my revenge in many other races😉
Good days @jezcox 😎
